Day 4


Day 4, well…

My 4th day of working on the Godot Wild Jam left a bit of a bitter taste in my mouth.

I was attempting to fix the Robot enemy but my lacking knowledge with the KinematicBody2D meant that I couldn’t pinpoint the issue that was making it move so utterly slowly.

I probably spent more time than I should have before I pushed the robot to one side (literally it is just off the side of the level) making the decision to continue the project without robots for the robot invasion.

I may potentially come back to the robots but I still have a lot to do and would like to have a more complete game to submit by the jam’s end.
